Andy (Kate Hudson) is a journalist tasked with writing an article on how to drive a man away for the aforementioned ten days, while Benjamin (Matthew McConaughey) makes a bet with a colleague, claiming he can make any woman fall for him.

Save The Last Dance (2001)

The famous table dance scene from 10 things I hate about youyou may have won the lead role of Julia Stiles Save the last dance. In this touching novel, Stiles plays a ballet dancer who loses her passion after the sudden death of her mother. At her new school, she meets Derek (Sean Patrick Thomas), who helps her regain her love of dance and self-confidence.

Mean Girls (2004)

Bad Girls is perhaps the most iconic teen movie of the early 2000s. Lindsay Lohan stars as Cady, a girl transitioning to high school for the first time after being homeschooled most of her life. At school, she meets the popular Plastics group led by Regina George (Rachel McAdams) and befriends them with an ulterior motive.

Can’t Wait (1998)

This is another cult classic teen comedy from the late 90s. Starring Ethan Embrey, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Seth Green, the film takes place primarily at a high school graduation party where a nerdy kid is about to confess his longtime crush on the most popular girl in school.

A Walk to Remember (2002)

It’s more of a gut-wrenching comedy than an invigorating one. But just like in 10 things I hate about you features a pair of teenagers who don’t get along at first, but slowly start to become more vulnerable to each other.

Ugly Coyote (2000)

In this romantic comedy, the two leads, played by Piper Perabo and Adam Garcia, start dating under unusual circumstances. At first they don’t like each other, but then she owes him a favor and is forced to go on several dates with him. The film also features several iconic bar dancing scenes.

She’s All That (1999)

in 10 things I hate about you, the male lead is given a financial incentive to start dating Julia Stiles’ character. She is all that has a similar premise, but instead of money, there is a bet. Freddie Prinze Jr. plays a high school jock who makes a bet that he can turn the nerdiest girl in school (Rachel Leigh Cook) into prom queen.

Romeo + Juliet (1996)

In this modern take on another classic Shakespeare story, Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes bring the famous star-crossed lovers to life. But in this 1996 adaptation, the two members of two feuding crime families.

Deliver Us From Eve (2003)

Featuring Gabrielle Union and LL Cool J, Deliver us from Eve is another modern adaptation of The Taming of the Shrew. With the titular Eva too involved in her two sisters’ lives, their two boyfriends conspire to hire Ray to date her so they can finally have peace from their overbearing daughter-in-law.
