The 6.2-liter V-8 engine generates up to 495 horsepower, allowing the Corvette to accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds. Also, compared to some other sports cars, the Corvette is more comfortable and practical. This makes it a good choice for a daily driver.
Additionally, to celebrate 70 years of production, the 2023 Corvette offers a 70th Anniversary model. It has a number of unique design features. Car and Driver’s third best new sports car in 2023 is the 2023 Toyota GR Supra. The GR Supra is a good choice for the segment – with a starting price of $44,040 MSRP.
Along with relative affordability, the GR Supra has a stylish exterior design that differs significantly from Toyota’s more conservatively styled lineup of sedans and SUVs. It also has superb driving dynamics, with responsive steering, nimble handling and confident braking.
The most powerful engine offered for the GR Supra is BMW’s 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six that generates 382 horsepower. Also, for acceleration, the sports car completes the 0-60 mph sprint in just 3.7 seconds.
