This is the shocking moment a Tennessee high school student sprayed her teacher twice after he confiscated her phone during class.

The female student can be seen nonchalantly following her male teacher as he flees the classroom after being assaulted for the first time – only to spray him in the face, demanding: “Give me my phone.”

Other students laughed and joked as the teacher cried out and fell to his knees before the student unsuccessfully tried to take her phone from his hand. The man behind the camera can be heard shouting “the mace is crazy”.

According to the person who posted the video on Reddit, the Antioch High School student in Nashville was “texting and Googling answers for her school work.”

The user who posted the video claims that the same teacher was also punched in the face by a student at the school two months ago.

The footage was taken by another student and shows the teacher running from the classroom after being attacked, only to be sprayed again by the same student in the hallway

At several points during the attack, other staff members tried to help as the girl repeatedly told the teacher to give her the phone back.

“She just pepper sprayed me,” the teacher yelled as he spoke to another educator just seconds before pepper spraying him again.

As she went to grab her device, he pulled his hand back, prompting her to pick up the mace and spray him again.

Another adult intervened and told the girl to back up, even though she continued to yell “can I have my phone” and “I need my phone.”

At one point, an off-camera bystander can be heard saying, “On the phone? This shit is crazy.

The other teacher from a neighboring classroom told the girl she couldn’t get her phone back as the pepper-sprayed teacher tried to pull herself together.

The video ended with one teacher coughing as others intervened.

DailyMail.com reached out to the school district to see if the student faces any disciplinary action or consequences, but did not hear back.

The shocking video sparked an emotional response online with hundreds of people on social media platforms reacting to the attack.

“The sad part is that all the other kids just laugh like it’s a joke,” one Reddit user replied.

“It should be easier to suspend or expel students for cause. Make the diabolical parents bear the brunt of their inaction,” added another. “The kid who laughs because the teacher was pepper sprayed is trash too.”

“At what point can teachers sue school districts that don’t provide safe working conditions for their workers?” one chimed in.

“She should be charged with assault and kicked out,” wrote another.

It is not clear if the teenager has been arrested or charged in this incident.
