All the celebrities who walked the runway

The theme of this season seems to have been “the return of real dressing”, with many designers ditching the shenanigans of the past and simply presenting good, effortless runway wear. That being said, there were still stunts here and there, though for the most part in the form of unexpected casting. It started not long ago at New York Fashion Week, when John Grice stepped off our TV screens and hit the Eckhaus Latta runway (of course The white lotus fan fiction quickly blossomed to explain Greg’s transformation into a male model). From there, more stars joined him, both in New York and London, to walk the runway and provide some dramatic monologue readings for the audience. As we move towards Milan and from there Paris, there are sure to be more surprises and you won’t want to miss them. So keep an eye out here for the other famous faces who hit the runway as fashion month continues.

Boss really brought out the celebrities for their Spring/Summer 2023 show in Miami, opening the presentation with Pamela Anderson.

DJ Khaled also walked for Boss, showing off a black suit on the runway.

The RuPaul’s Drag Race the season seven winner joined supermodels like Naomi Campbell, Amber Valletta and Precious Lee on the Boss runway.

Chachki was also accompanied by her Drag Race companion, Gottmik, who walked the runway in a black corset over a deconstructed button down.

The surprising models at the Boss show were completed by the most followed man on TikTok, Khaby Lame, who looked right at home on the runway.

Miuccia likes to include a handful of stars in each of her shows, so it wasn’t much of a surprise when her Fall/Winter 2023 presentation kicked off with one of her muses, Mia Goth.

And when you open with star power, you should close with it. That’s where Emma Corinne came in, closing the show in a pair of embellished bloomers.

Just a season after making her runway debut at Miu Miu’s Spring 2023 show, Zaya Wade took it to the next level by making her Fall/Winter 2023 runway debut.

She may be an actress now, but HoYeon Jung loves going back to her roots for Louis Vuitton.

Vivienne Westwood’s former muse, Sarah Stockbridge, returned to the runway for the brand’s first show since the designer’s death last year.

But Stockbridge wasn’t the only one who showed up to honor Westwood. Cora Corre, the designer’s granddaughter, closed the presentation as a Westwood bride.

McKellen actually approached Stephen Stookey-Daley about appearing in SSDaley’s Fall/Winter 2023 presentation, according to fashion, and thankfully Stockie-Daly complied, allowing the actor to open the show with a reading of Alfred Tennyson The Coming of Arthur.

Daniel Lee’s striking color combinations weren’t the only unexpected surprise at his Burberry debut. Lennon Gallagher, the 23-year-old son of Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher and actress Patsy Kensit, hit the runway in a graphic pink print ensemble with fuzzy Wallabee-style shoes.

It is fitting that Tom Brown would seek out Broadway producer Jordan Roth to help put on such a theatrical show.

In the third season of The white lotus, Greg takes the money from Tanya’s life insurance, moves to New York and starts a new life as a male model. He proved at Eckhaus Latta’s fall 2023 ready-to-wear show that he has what it takes.

The Proenza Schouler Fall/Winter 2023 ready-to-wear presentation marked the brand’s 20th anniversary, which designers Jack McCollough and Lázaro Hernandez celebrated by paying tribute to the women who inspire them. It was fitting, then, that longtime brand friend Sevigny opened the show in a chic, all-black look.

Animals took over the Collina Strada Fall/Winter 2023 ready-to-wear show, and Tomi Dorfman got in on the fun, hitting the runway as a little bunny bride in a white dress.
