Bella Figura Music is looking for a Revenue Analyst to join their small, passionate, driven team in Soho, London, working with great art and artists to deliver a best-in-class service that unlocks the biggest value on their behalf.

Working closely with stakeholders across the business and reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for ensuring revenue assurance and forensic analysis across Bella Figura Music’s broad range of global publishing and mastering activities to fully realize its profit potential . The Revenue Assurance Analyst will work within the Finance, Data and Operations teams to support data initiatives across the business with a specific focus on revenue, liaising with all parts of the business to ensure that all streams received of revenue are in line with projections and provides data points for retroactivity – claims, adjustments and any additional payments.

Main responsibilities:

  • Work proactively with publisher and label teams to ensure revenue streams are in line with expectations and help resolve any discrepancies
  • Proactively use your knowledge and foresight to prevent revenue collection problems from occurring
  • Develop a comprehensive monthly BFM revenue status analysis to ensure all activity is tracked and revenue is moving as expected
  • Participate in setting deal-level expectations and provide revenue confirmations
  • Work with the Data Engineer to ensure data platforms support monetization initiatives
  • Ensure royalty data is effectively reviewed and reconciled to support BFM’s data infrastructure and support accurate revenue reporting
  • Use your technical expertise to streamline processes and proactively find creative solutions to business challenges
  • Develop BFM’s revenue tracking and analytics to become best in class

About you:

  • Experienced forensic analyst with proven track record in the music business
  • Experience and understanding of global music business structures.
  • Experience in creating internal analytics/forecasting reports tailored to the business
  • Strong computer literacy and advanced Excel capabilities including Power Pivot and advanced formulas and experience with BI visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau
  • Data Literacy – experience analyzing, extracting and manipulating data from large volumes of data files
  • Detailed knowledge of DSP file formats such as CRD, CSV, DIF, FLAT, TEXT, TAB
  • Able to find creative ways to innovate and tell campaign stories in an authentic way
  • Strategic, detailed and organized
  • Proactive, results-oriented and possessing strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Able to adapt communication style to the environment, both internal and external
