As the government reopens after the longest shutdown in U.S. history, the Blue Angels on Nov. 14. will hold its final public practice at Naval Station Pensacola.
NAS Pensacola’s West Gate will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The flight line will open at 11 a.m. and the Blue Angels will fly at 1 p.m.
Parking for practice will be in the Naval Aviation Museum parking lot. Parking is free but limited; Access to the base may be restricted when parking lots reach capacity.
All visitors 18 and older must present a REAL ID or valid US passport. Foreign nationals must be accompanied by a US citizen driver who will be screened at the Visitor Center. All vehicles and personnel are protected.
In accordance with museum and base security regulations, all bags must comply with the clean bag policy:

Bags must be clear, clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and no larger than 12″ x 6″ x 12″.

Small clutch bags (no larger than 4.5″ x 6.5″) are allowed.

Backpacks, large purses or opaque bags are not permitted.

The Blue Angels were originally scheduled to end the season with the Homecoming Air Show on November 14th and 15th, but have announced that NAS Pensacola will be held on October 31st. announced that the show would be canceled due to the government shutdown.
The Blue Angels have not performed publicly since Oct. 1, when the shutdown began.
