Lincoln unveiled the facelifted Corsair at the 2022 Detroit Auto Show, and it was more of an evolution than a revolution.
Since the brand is sleepier than North Dakota on a Thursday night, we will remind you that the 2023 Corsair received a larger grille, a more expressive front bumper and updated wheels. These are joined by a larger 13.2-inch infotainment system and the ActiveGlide semi-autonomous driving system, which enables hands-free operation at speeds of up to 80 mph (129 km/h).
These are notable updates, but the end result leaves something to be desired. However, their Chinese counterparts seem to have found the missing secret sauce as their revamped Corsair has a bit more personality.

As you can see in these photos released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Chinese Corsair has a unique grille with a thin strip that flows into elegant headlights. Down below, there’s a sportier bumper with larger intakes, as well as a narrower chrome accent. They’re joined by a lower mesh insert that makes the horizontal in the US-spec model look like something that came from a dollar store.
The changes don’t stop there, as the Chinese Corsair has a unique rear end that looks much more modern than what we get in the US. The most noticeable difference is the taillights, which include a chrome strip as well as “Lincoln” lettering. They are joined by a minimalist bumper and a hidden exhaust system.
The updated Corsair echoes the upcoming Nautilus, and documents suggest it will have a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine developing 257 hp. (192 kW / 261 PS). If that’s the case, that would be a slight improvement over the current four-cylinder engine, which makes 241 hp. (180 kW / 245 hp).
Autohome suggests a hybrid variant will arrive post-launch and is likely a version of the current plug-in hybrid. This particular model has a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine, two electric motors, and a 15.1 kWh battery. This setup allows the crossover to have a combined output of 272 hp. (203 kW / 276 hp) and travel 40 miles (64 km) on electricity alone.
