Community Bank is making a difference this holiday season

Vermont Business Journal Community Bank branches in Vermont and throughout the New England region help spread the holiday spirit by reaching out and giving back to their local neighbors and communities. The bank once again welcomes the holiday season by sponsoring or independently organizing charity campaigns for local community members, families and businesses.

Community Bank branches in the four states work to make a difference for local community members and organizations, including branches in the New England region.

From donating food baskets and gifts for children to buying a holiday dinner for a family and more, each branch chose their activity based on the current needs of their local community.

“The true spirit of the holiday season comes from giving back and helping those in need,” said Community Bank Regional Manager Anita Bourgeois. β€œIt’s an honor to do this here at home in our local community. Our branches will be buzzing and working hard to make a difference, and we encourage our New England community to get involved and help spread the holiday cheer.”

Community Bank invites its neighbors and the community to consider supporting or learn more about one of the many causes the bank is involved with this season.

Specific local activities include:

  • Barre branch supports the tree with hats, gloves and socks for the Easter Stamps program
  • Bradford branch collects pet supplies for the local senior center
