The leading fitness brand’s new boxing and HIIT formats include ‘Ground Level’, ‘BattleHIIT Out’, & “12 Round TKO”

NEW YORK, December 5, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Crunch, the leading fitness company with a “Judgment-Free” philosophy, announced 12 new proprietary group fitness classes launching in 2023, featuring programming available exclusively to Crunch members. Among the classes debuting in the first quarter are four boxing formats, a new HIITZone workout and core strength training, joining a list of 80+ existing group fitness offerings already available to members.

Crunch Group fitness classes launching in 2023 include:

Ground level – a unique interval class focused on bodyweight strength and core training. Using ground-level exercises and periods of standing rest known as “level-up rests,” this one-of-a-kind workout will get you strong and stable. Mix strength training inspired by animal movement patterns with crushing core exercises to define, shape and sculpt your body in just 30 minutes. This unique workout includes seven rounds of work per class, each with a different mobility-based movement and a different core exercise designed to push your limits and challenge your mind and body.

Press the perimeter – this combo class features superset strength sequences interspersed with fast and furious workouts around the perimeter of the studio. This class uses barbells, dumbbells, balls and dumbbells to work on speed, agility and quickness while using the perimeter of the room as four separate lanes. Work through four “sets” of as many repetitions as possible in a thirty-minute workout, where participants work for one minute and complete as many repetitions as possible. These four sets are then followed by a one-minute “perimeter pressing” cardio round that will challenge your strength and endurance.

BattleHIIT Out – the ultimate HIIT battleground. Work in teams of two as you compete with your partner to complete the maximum number of reps at each station. Get ready for turf battles where you face off in reaction drills to brag at home in this battlefield training for all!

Tied to a barbell – Time bound? Bound for results? You’re bound to raise the bar in this unique workout that combines two types of strength training. Work your way through barbell sets alternating with bound rounds that include one-minute work sets that use a specialized long band strapped to your body, and burn sets that use heavy resistance bands to produce a grueling workout that will did incredibly strong, focused and with a barbell.

Boxing Formats:

12-round TKO – Take your workout to the extreme in this incredibly fun Tabata-based workout. Develop strength, speed, agility and footwork as you fight through four special work blocks of 12 rounds. Accelerate your fitness level with a Battle Royale finisher that requires stamina and strength for grueling bouts of hard cardio followed by explosive core work.

Battle camp – Do you want to train like the pros in the ring? Become brilliant at the basics in this workout designed to hone your boxing skills and sharpen your mind. Hit the heavy bag with power, develop timing and fluency in combos, develop your core stability and train your reaction time. At Fight Camp, you’ll leave feeling like a champion, with strength, endurance, speed and power!

Heavy hitter – Become a Heavy Hitter and discover your power in the next phase of your fitness journey—even outside the ring—with this vigorous workout designed to build endurance, strength, and stability. Using different styles of resistance training and intervals on and off the heavy bag, this workout is designed to push the limits of upper and lower body strength and challenge core strength and stability.

round it up – Get ready to rumble in this dynamic station-based boxing workout. Using heavy bags, KNUX and sandbells, this workout will get you in fighting shape and ready to win the fight. Go through eight special stations with a combination of longer battle rounds, then repeat at maximum intensity in our signature knockout rounds. Wildcard rounds tax the body and mind with a quick Boxmaster combination, leaving you fit for battle and ready to rumble.
