The exam tests knowledge of the principles and practices of horticulture and the identification of plants found in the region. Passing the exam requires a broad knowledge of the factors that affect plant health, as well as identifying different plant materials by scientific name. The CPP certification program has earned a reputation among horticulture professionals as a difficult exam.
Kueber is employed at Cashman Nursery in Bozeman.
“I started working at Tizer Botanical Garden and Arboretum in 2020 and discovered that I love plants. After exploring my other academic options at MSU, I turned to horticulture and it continued the passion I developed working at Tizer Gardens. From there I started working at Cashman Nursery and decided to make a career out of doing something I love.”
The Montana Nursery and Landscape Association is a nonprofit trade association of members from the United States and Canada.
