IIt’s time for scares, ghosts, hauntings and candy! Welcome to the spooky season, dear readers.

If you’re looking for something to do in these final days before Halloween, we’ve got you covered. Here’s a look at some of the many Halloween-themed events happening in our region. Take the kids to an event or host a zombie-themed dinner party in downtown Spokane. Take your ghost as you see fit — and don’t forget to have fun!

Colville Corn Maze & Pumpkin Patch

Halloween Movies in Garland
Throughout October, the Garland is screening an array of eerie ghost films for your viewing pleasure. Visit the theater’s website for the full lineup, including titles like The silence of the Lambs (October 23), Hocus Pocus (October 25-29), Halloween (October 28-31) etc. $2.50. Movie times vary. Ghoul Old-Fashioned Fun
Kids and their families are invited to this festival featuring Halloween-inspired activities including a ghost roast, bingo, crafts, games and more. Costumes are strongly encouraged. Stroll the streets of historic Browne’s Addition and hear ghost stories of people old and new who still watch the passing of time from the windows of mansions and bungalows. Halloween Moon Monster Cruise

North Idaho College CTE Trick-or-Treat

Spooky Storytime and Scavenger Hunt

A wonderful autumn festival

HUB Drive-In Movie Series

Brick or treat!

Campbell House Halloween
Wear your costume for a family Halloween experience. Complete scavenger hunts and make crafts on the sun porch. Includes candy, games and fun for all ages. Buy your tickets online or at the door. Haunted Wagons
Stroll through the museum’s carriages, which have been transformed into a haunted attraction for the season. Halloween costume swap
The Spokane County District Library hosts numerous eco-friendly costume swaps for the thrifty souls in all of us. Scarywood Haunted Nights
Scarywood is full of haunted attractions and roaming monsters, including five haunted attractions, nine scare zones and the chance to ride most of Silverwood’s signature rides in the dark. King Family Haunted House
This year’s King Family Halloween theme is “Icons of Horror,” a traveling horror show dating back to the late 1800s. The family is also accepting donations of nonperishable food for the food bank and money for Make-A-Wish. This is the last year of the King Family exhibition. The Hillbilly Haunted House
