Happy birthday, Kim! That’s right, Kim Kardashian turned 43 on October 21. For many years, Kim was known as a reality TV star, but she cleverly used her celebrity status to become an influencer, entrepreneur and, as a result, a multi-millionaire.
Did you know? October 21 is also a big day for Back to the Future fans.
Kim has spent several years in the public eye, and her romantic relationships have often been scrutinized, with both herself and her partners becoming objects of adoration or criticism. Here we take a short journey on her path of love and relationships.
Kim Kardashian Relationship History
The SKIMS founder has been married and divorced three times to Damon Thomas, Kris Humphries and Kanye West. She has also been romantically involved with several celebrities and athletes. Here is the history of her relationships, or at least the ones we know of…
When Kardashian was just 19 years old, she eloped with music producer Damon Thomas, who was ten years her senior. They were married for three years but eventually filed for divorce in 2003.
Kardashian began dating musician Ray J in 2003 after meeting him while working as her sister Brandi’s stylist. The couple had been in a relationship for three years.
The couple began dating in late 2006 after Kim ended her relationship with Ray J, but split in 2007.
In 2007, Kardashian began dating American football player Reggie Bush. Their relationship was documented on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, but ended in 2009.
Kim began dating Dallas Cowboys player Miles Austin in the summer of 2010. However, they broke up a few months later.
Kim started dating the former basketball player in December 2010 and they got engaged after just six months of dating. They tied the knot in August 2011 in a celebrity-studded wedding. Just 72 days after walking down the aisle, Kardashian filed for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences.” Humphreys sought an annulment, alleging fraud. They reached an agreement in April 2013, and the divorce was finalized in June of that year.
Although they met in the early 2000s, it wasn’t until after Kardashian split from Humphries in 2011 that West asked her to fly to Paris to see his fashion show. They began dating, announcing in late 2012 that they were expecting their first child, North, who was born in June 2013. In October of that year, West proposed to Kardashian, and they married in Italy in May 2014. December 2015 they welcomed their son Sveti. After two high-risk pregnancies, the couple opted for surrogacy, welcoming daughter Chicago in 2018 and son Psalm in 2019.
After various problems and controversies, Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021, to which Kanye repeatedly objected. In March 2022, Kim was declared legally single, but it wasn’t until November 2022 that they reached a custody and property settlement, finalizing their divorce. West moved on to new tougher pastures.
Kim and Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson began dating in the fall of 2021 after the reality star appeared as host of the show. The romance took place during her divorce proceedings and Pitt faced constant criticism from Kanye. The couple ended their relationship in August of the following year.
Odell Beckham Jr
The comedian was Kim Kardashian’s latest confirmed partner, but there were rumors of a romance with Tom Brady and, more recently, Odell Beckham Jr. According to a People report in September, they were “breaking up” and a source confirmed that Kim and OBJ were “dating.”
