Students at Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts held a full rehearsal Thursday for their annual Dance Soup concert.
This year, Southside Bethlehem School celebrates its 20th anniversary by presenting its Dance Soup show.
The concert showcased the students’ skills and talent learned from their improv and dance composition classes.
“We give them a lot of freedom for this concert to really explore the whole world of dance, and they really get the chance to express their individual voices and specialties,” said School of Dance Artistic Director Jennifer Weaver.
“Audiences will enjoy a mix of 26 solo and group performances from various dance genres including modern, jazz, hip-hop, Afro-contemporary dance and ballet with a wide range of musical selections and themes that will keep them fully engaged.” she said.

Public performances are scheduled for 7:00 PM on Friday and Saturday, November 17-18, with a matinee show scheduled for 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 18.
All performances will be held in the Charter Arts Main Theater, at Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts, 321 E. Third St. in Bethlehem.
