Material continues the expansion of leadership as Sharon Kamra

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 07, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Global consumer experience transformation company, Material, today announced that Sharon Kamra has been named its first Chief Human Resources Officer. Kamra takes responsibility for the company’s overall people experience and operations, including recruiting, compensation, benefits, and training and development. Kamra will report to Material’s COO, Laurie MacLaren.

Kamra built his career at Sapient and its iterations, including SapientNitro, SapientRazorfish and Publicis Sapient as Chief People Officer, leading recruiting and workforce planning, among other roles. During her tenure, the company grew from 5,000 to 20,000 employees, with Kamra focusing on creating a culture of nurturing and people experience to enable more powerful rapid growth. During her time, turnover rates were consistently lower than the industry average. She began her career at Ultradata as a project manager and went on to hold customer-facing roles in the user experience space for a decade before moving into the people function.
