Number 15, new Whiskey Row entertainment venue, sets opening date
Number 15, a new venue and social hall coming to the Whiskey Row area of Louisville’s Main Street, will open to the public on Thursday, May 18, according to Louisville Business First. The venue’s opening week will feature four nights of free, live music as well as drinks from Kentucky craft breweries and distilleries, according to a news release. The complex will have space for customers on several floors. In addition to musical performances, guests are invited to head downstairs to Last Place, the lower level sports bar that serves Kentucky-inspired fare. And with Number 15’s cuff payment system, guests will be able to leave without waiting to close their tab. “We are so excited to officially introduce Number 15 to Louisville,” Spencer Fronk, CEO of Numbers Holding Co., the company behind Number 15, said in the release. “From bourbon, to food, to music, we invite everyone to step into the unexpected and experience the fusion of Kentucky culture.” If you’re curious about the name, it’s because Kentucky is the 15th state in the union. This group also operates number 38 in Denver, Colorado – guess which state is in the union. Number 15 will be open to the public every week from 4pm to midnight on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 11am to midnight on Fridays and 11am to 10pm on Sundays. The lower-level sports bar and kitchen, Last Place, will be open from 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily and can be accessed via the Washington Street Alley. For more information on the concept and a list of all the events planned for its opening week, you can read Louisville Business First’s full article here.
