Pittsboro, NC – On Saturday morning, I took a quick, not-too-serious live tour of the Pittsboro Street Fair, a lively event that brings together vendors, organizations and community members for a day of fun and enjoyment. In a quick walkthrough, I highlight some of the various attractions, food options, and activities that caught my eye.
A diverse range of providers and organizations
As I walk through the fair, I come across numerous stalls and stands representing various vendors and organizations. From Mount Pleasant Church to a recycling center and Impact Martial Arts, there seems to be something for everyone. The fair provides a platform for local businesses and community organizations to showcase their offerings and connect with visitors. Charitable groups and community initiatives also made their presence felt, advocating for various important issues.

One of my favorite live shows is the Pittsboro Rotary Club Tricycle Race. I heard of a funny incident where a contestant lost a shoe in the race. It’s these unexpected changes of faith that make the fair uniquely strange and fun to visit. I also come across stalls selling local honey and trinkets, offering visitors a taste of regional specialties and the chance to bring home unique souvenirs.
