Riley Keough shared the last photo she took with her mother, Lisa Marie Presley, before she passed away on January 12.
The photo shows the mother-daughter duo sitting together in a restaurant and smiling gently for the camera as they lean towards each other.
For the occasion, Keough wore a matching silver and gold top and bottom, while Presley rocked a black blouse and black jacket adorned with gold buttons and embellishments.
“I feel blessed to have a picture of the last time I saw my beautiful mother. Grateful @georgieflores picked this up. ❤️,” Keough, 33, captioned the cute photo on Instagram on Tuesday.
Over the weekend, the Daisy Jones and Six star broke her silence on her mother’s death by sharing a throwback photo of the two.
Keough’s husband, Ben Smith-Peterson, also read a heartfelt letter she wrote at Presley’s memorial at Graceland on Sunday.
“Thank you for giving me strength, my heart, my empathy, my courage, my sense of humor, my manners, my temper, my wildness, my tenacity. I’m a product of your heart, my sisters are a product of your heart, my brother is a product of your heart,” Smith-Petersen said, referring to Presley’s beloved late son, Benjamin Keough.
She also wrote that she “hopes[s] I can love my daughter the way you loved me,” confirming that she welcomed a child.
Page Six later confirmed that she and Smith-Peterson, who married in 2015, had secretly welcomed a daughter. However, it is not clear when she gave birth.
“I remember what it felt like to be loved by the most loving mother I’ve ever known,” the note continued. “How safe it felt to be in your arms: I remember that feeling as a child and I remember it two weeks ago on your couch.”
Lisa Marie, who was the only child of the late icon Elvis Presley and Priscilla Presley, has died after suffering a cardiac arrest at the age of 54.
The singer was buried at Graceland on Sunday – next to her late son, who committed suicide in 2020. He was 27 years old.
In addition to Riley and her daughter, Lisa Marie is survived by her mother, Priscilla, and twin daughters, Finley and Harper Lockwood, 14.
