Science Communication – NASA

“If you don’t toot your own horn, who will?”

In its charter, NASA is expected to tell the public about its inventions and discoveries. Daring feats, strange sights and exotic locales have an appeal that predates NASA by thousands of years, but the wonders NASA can tell are often hard to fathom. This web page is designed to help people who normally only talk about what they do with other professionals get the word out to members of the general public. You can also find helpful resources on our US Space Program public opinion web pages.

The following is a selected bibliography of relevant materials available to patrons of the NASA Headquarters Library. All items are available in the headquarters library except as noted. NASA Headquarters employees and contractors: Call x0168 or email [email protected] for information about library borrowing or use of any of these items. Members of the public: Contact your local library for availability of these items. Staff at NASA Headquarters may request additional material or research on this topic. The Library welcomes your comments or suggestions regarding this web page.
