SpringTopia Fest offers fun for kids with rides, games and mazes – Daily News

The event runs through April 23 and features seven interactive lands with amusement park-style experiences, Circus Land, Fun – Land, Holiday Land, Light Show Land, Pirate Land, Puppy Land and Ghost Land. SpringTopia Fest wraps up at the end of April, so there’s still time to head out for the family-friendly action, featuring rides, games, mazes, interactive activities, refreshments and more held in 200,000 square feet of empty parking on the enclosed boardwalk Topanga Mall in Woodland Hills.

It features “seven immersive lands” to explore, but note that for safety there are strict height requirements for some of the wilder rides. For the “thrill rides” like Zipper and Sizzler, riders must be at least 52 inches tall. For “family rides” and the Surf Shack Funhouse, children must be 42 inches tall, and to ride “kid-friendly rides” like the Windjammer, the height requirement is only 36 inches.

While Wikipedia these days calls Topanga Promenade “a dead mall in the Woodland Hills neighborhood,” it turned out to be just right for family events. SpringTopia isn’t cheap, with a day pass starting at $36. Ends April 23rd. Hours for the final two weekends are Friday 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Saturday and Sunday 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM More info: https://springtopiafest.com/los-angeles/#faqs.
