The main pillars of a good movie

Cinema came about right after photography first appeared as a result of advanced technology. Photographs can capture real life and put it in a place where time will never change it. A repeating picture would build the first film, in which sound was still missing. People will see some videos and the subtitles will help them get further explanation of what they have already seen. Today, cinema is more than that and is considered an art form. To create a film, a large group of talented professionals who can interact in an inspired way must be brought together under the guidance of a responsible producer. The process starts with the script and the director is called upon to give the script the wings it needs to fly. The actors will not only have to accept the director’s suggestions, but also give their unique flavor to the final recipe. Here we talk about the basics of a successful movie that has helped thousands of artistes to come out with wonderful results.

  1. Plot and tension
A tight plot is the foundation of a successful film. Cinema is closely related to storytelling and the existence of myth. By myth we mean an imaginary story that seems to represent random truths that we all have to face in our lives. Through myth, people will be able to identify themselves and find solutions to existing problems. For this reason, the plot is considered quite valuable. While there are plotless films that have managed to capture the interest of a sophisticated section of the audience, there is not a single film with a structured plot that has failed to capture the attention of all. Also, mystery films and thrillers are often based on suspense. The audience shares the agony of the characters and expects to discover the truth. A surprising turn of events is also used to increase the tension and make people go crazy for the movie.
  2. Heroes and heroes
The people who appear in the film are of great interest and concern. A director reading a screen for the first time will need to see the writer’s intentions when it comes to the story’s characters. Remember that a movie is just the evolution of literature and mythology. The most relative art form that existed long before the cinema is the theater. Theater developed in ancient Greece. Interestingly, although in many civilizations the arts and sciences have developed sooner or later in a similar form, the theater is the only thing that appears only in this particular region. Theater is about imitating a great event. So, as you can imagine, it must be something worth mentioning. Everything presented in the film is important because the person doing it or saying it is important. The audience must be convinced of the depth of the characters and identify themselves in the eyes of these fictional characters. This will allow them to project their lives and problems onto the film and feel engaged with what they see.
  3. Special effects and photography
To begin with, cinema is all about the picture. The power that video brings to an audience is incredible. Visual effects have been developed impressively over the past few years. Especially now that the screens that people have in their homes are also technologically advanced, special effects can do wonders and sci-fi movies are often based on them. On the other hand, less fancy films can perfectly use photography to stand out from the competition. Eccentric makeup artists and professionals can do wonders. Still, the cinematographer is responsible for the visual harmony of the film. Also, the music or sounds that are used play a crucial role. Without them, the film can be empty and the director will not be able to communicate the concept he wants to the audience. While the main characters and the plot are the backbone of a good movie, the final and yet very critical part of the process is how one will ultimately present it.
