Some blue states seem to have finally snapped when it comes to President Donald Trump’s administration claiming that the government shutdown is the Democrats’ fault.
So, they decided to inform visitors that if they are panicking that the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program payments will be suspended on November 1st. for the shutdown, they can blame the GOP.

The warning expands to read: “Starting in November, some people will see permanent cuts to SNAP because of changes passed by Republicans in Congress and President Trump in the ‘One Big Beautiful Bill.’
of California social service website flaunts a similar message.
“The federal government has shut down because the president and Congress have failed to continue funding the government,” it read in part.

The warnings appear to be giving Trump and the GOP a taste of their own medicine. At the start of the shutdown, several federal websites displayed pop-ups and banners blaming Democrats for the situation.
Illinois State also decided to play for tat.
“Federal officials in the Trump administration have told all states that if the Republican federal government shutdown continues, it will not pay for SNAP (food stamp) benefits in November. As a result, SNAP recipients will not receive November food benefits — unless the Trump administration takes further steps to reopen the government.” the report says.

The last time in 2018-2019 with the government shutdown under Trump, his administration made sure people didn’t lose their SNAP benefits. But this time, the GOP claims the funds simply aren’t there.
“It’s a Republican choice. It’s a Trump choice,” Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) told Stephen Colbert Thursday night, noting that there is “a lot of money” for food aid right now.
“But what they want to do now is basically pit poor people who are on food stamps against middle-class people who are covered by the Affordable Care Act and basically say, ‘Let’s figure out how to make these people fight each other,'” Gallego continued. “So both a Republican and Donald Trump can screw them both up.”
Health care is at the heart of the government shutdown. Democrats want to extend subsidies for Americans who buy health insurance through the Affordable Care Act’s exchanges. Republicans falsely claim that Dems want to provide free health care to undocumented immigrants.
Meanwhile Republicans left the Ministry of Internal Affairs government shutdown, making negotiations difficult. Trump spent last week traveling in Asia, where South Korean President Lee Jae Myung played into Trump’s ego presenting the president with a golden crown.

While Colbert was interviewing Gallego on Thursday night, he wondered why Americans can’t have affordable health care and could feed their families as well.
“It’s the wrong choice though, isn’t it?” Colbert asked Gallego. “Shouldn’t we do both?

“It’s a false choice,” Gallego replied. “And how in a great country like ours, you can do both, right? With a great leader, you can do both. We don’t have a great leader in the White House right now, right? That’s just a fact.”
He continued: “But we have a man who wants to divide us more than he wants to unite us and really care about us. That’s the problem we have right now. And instead of actually being a leader, he’s going abroad to get confirmation from every other country that he’s a leader.”
“The best way to be a leader in this country is to actually be here and lead,” Gallego concluded. “You don’t need a crown to prove it.”
