The US Virgin Islands is hosting the 2023 Caribbean Hotel Investment Conference and Operations Summit.

ST. THOMAS, US Virgin Islands, November 16, 2023 /PRNewswire/ — The US Virgin Islands Department of Tourism celebrated the successful completion of the 2023 Caribbean Hotel Investment Conference and Operations Meeting (CHICOS). Held on St. Thomas at the new Westin Beach Resort & Spa on Frenchman’s Reef, CHICOS brought together key stakeholders, investors and hospitality and tourism dignitaries. The opening reception, hosted by the Ministry of Tourism, showcased a cultural immersion for meeting attendees, featuring electrifying performances by fire dancers and international reggae sensation Pressure, culminating in a spectacular fireworks display. The stunning hillside of St. Thomas provided a stunning backdrop for the event.

The summit began on Monday, November 13with a strong welcome message from US Virgin Islands Governor Albert Bryan Jrwho discussed the importance of interconnectedness and cooperation between the islands throughout the period The Caribbean to continue developing the region as a leader in the hotel space.

CHICOS has earned its reputation as the premier hospitality conference for The Caribbean region, attracting a diverse range of participants from government officials and opinion leaders to developers, bankers, tourism officials and hotel brand executives.

This year’s conference served as a platform for participants to network, share insights and discuss emerging trends to shape investment decisions in the Caribbean vibrant hospitality sector.
