The day begins with No. 2 Arizona vs. No. 7 Dayton in the Atlantic 10 at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City at 11:45 a.m. CT. College basketball blue bloods 4 seed Kansas and 5 seed Gonzaga will then square off in Utah at 2:15 p.m.

But perhaps the biggest — and most surprising — game of the day will take place in Pittsburgh at PPG Paints Arena, as 14-seed Oakland, which defeated Kentucky in the first round, faces undefeated 11-seed NC State game in nearly two weeks. A game featuring Jack Gohlke and DJ Burns is sure to be entertaining television.

In addition to NC State, two other 11-seeded teams — Duquesne and Oregon — won Thursday to punch their tickets to the second round, marking just the second time in NCAA Tournament history that three 11-seeds won on the same day . The Dukes will look to continue their Cinderella run against No. 3 seed Illinois with the support of LeBron James.

And as for the nightcap, two former coaches will take over their former teams. First, it will be Rick Barnes taking on his former team Texas, while 2 seed Tennessee takes on the 7 seed Longhorns at 7:00 pm CT in Charlotte, NC. Dana Altman will then go head-to-head with Creighton as 11-seeded Oregon looks to defeat the 3-seeded Blue Jays to get back to the Sweet 16 at 8:40pm CT.
