As Halloween approaches, networks and streamers have released dozens of new spooky programs in honor of the season. But some horror fans may prefer to binge on their favorite franchises before the 31st. With six movies, a TV series, and dozens of popular video games, the Scream series is one of the best franchises to delve into this month.

From Wes Craven’s first Scream movie in 1996 to the latest Scream 6 released in March, here’s where to find and stream every Scream movie online. The two latest films are available on Paramount+, which is currently offering a free trial.

DiversityReview of: “Praised as the ‘final chapter’ in a trilogy, Scream 3 is a clever and well-crafted finale that truly brings a satisfying sense of closure to the franchise.” It should be noted that director Wes Craven found a way to expand yet another franchise by making another “New Nightmare” after the deceptively titled “Dead Freddy: The Last Nightmare.”

Diversity review: “The first sequel to the original trilogy in a decade, Scream 4 proves that it was once a good thing. Bloated, overlong, and oversaturated with genre self-deprecation, but undercooked in terms of credibility, compelling new characters, and memorable scares, this isn’t the gritty reboot fans were hoping for.”

DiversityReview of: “‘Scream’ is not a terribly scary movie. There are shocks and jolts and a brilliant sequence where a character is rummaging through a kitchen and we expect the killer to jump into the frame, but he keeps waiting and timing the attack, stretching the suspense like taffy.”

variety’s review: “Even though it goes on too long, it’s a pretty good thriller. It’s a gory murderous shell that’s clever in all the right ways, more strongly staged and shot than the previous film, eager to capitalize on its more sprawling but cloistered cosmopolitan setting.”
