Australia’s largest indoor golf brand, X-Golf, will open its second dual-brand location in Western Australia from next month, with golf enthusiasts able to test their skills at the six-simulator indoor venue or have fun in the unique 18 of the brand mini golf experience with holes, Hey, Caddy.
Located in the Rockingham Center on Syren Street, X-Golf Rockingham is the brand’s fourth location in Western Australia and will open to the public on Friday 8 December.
X-Golf General Manager Alex McCriel said that out of 21 locations across Australia, X-Golf and Hey Caddy patrons in the west have shown particularly incredible support and are very engaged in leagues, lessons and with the brand in general.
Makkreel noted that “we’ve seen an outstanding response from customers in Washington and are absolutely thrilled to launch another X-Golf location in Rockingham and bring something truly unique to this fantastic community.
“The recently opened X-Golf Bunbury was extremely well received and we also saw our newest X-League National Champions come from Balcatta.
“With three courses opening in Washington this year, golf fans here show no signs of slowing down.”
Rockingham’s only one-stop shop for indoor golf, X-Golf gives locals access to the best virtual courses and driving ranges in the world, where players of all skill levels can enjoy a hit.
Under the same roof, but a little lighter-hearted, is Hey Caddy, an immersive 18-hole putt-putt experience where each green boasts unique themes inspired by the destination.
As part of X-Golf’s ‘golf entertainment’, the new venue will also feature two fully licensed bars, extensive dining options, dart lanes, an outdoor beer garden, party rooms and large screen TVs broadcasting sporting events, making it different from anything within Rockingham’s existing entertainment offerings.
Makkreel added: “We aim to create a fun and inclusive experience here at X-Golf and Rockingham will be no exception.
“Our team has planned an epic venue that will suit a wide range of guests, whether you’re club-savvy or not.”
X-Golf Rockingham will employ over 20 local staff and will be open seven days a week.
