The Tesla Model 3 has become the quintessential electric car since it hit the market, but as impressive as it is, many consumers are still not convinced of its durability. This video can help reassure them that the Model 3 is suitable for most tasks, no matter how extreme.
Popular YouTuber WhistlinDiesel recently got his hands on a white Tesla Model 3 and set out to see just how tough it is. As we’ve come to expect from the social media star, he had no qualms about damaging the Tesla and ended up destroying it, just for the hell of it.

WhistlinDiesel initially had fun in the Tesla in a parking lot, fitting it with a wheel and tire lock and then proceeded to hit the road with the lock still attached. Locking up a drive wheel is obviously not a good idea, but eventually it breaks and the Model 3 can go on its merry way.
The really crazy stuff starts in the second half of the video, when the EV is outfitted with custom-built 115-inch steel wheels that stand 10 feet tall and are inspired by RC car wheels. Indeed, these wheels are mounted so that the car can technically be driven upside down.
To make this possible, a large truck is used to lift the Model 3 into the air and carefully hang it upside down. While this with an internal combustion car would cause all kinds of mechanical problems, the Tesla actually manages to drive upside down without a problem, making for a truly strange sight.
