No other car manufacturer has as many cancellations as in 2025. Ford

Jim Farley, CEO of Ford almost three years ago, said his priority is his priority. But at the time, Farley also claimed that it would take a few years to do so, and it seems to be an accurate rating when looking at Ford this year shocking many cancellations.

By analysis CarsFord has published 81 cancellation so far in 2025. This is more than the full number of brand cancellations (67) in 2024, when Ford was just behind Stelantis (72) for total cancellation. At this speed, Ford will receive more than 150 memories when the year will be performed.

A deeper look at the numbers

These 81 memories have affected more than four million vehicles, and Ford has announced a cancellation every 2.12 days to date in 2025. An average of more than 50,000 vehicles has been affected by each cancellation. Worse, 80 of the 81 memories required some physical examination or correction of vehicles this year, so the problems were such that they could not be easily resolved by renewing air.

There are only a few cancellations that Ford has released in 2025:

• Rear View Camera: Affected 1.1 million vehicles

• Driving Control Problems: have affected more than 29,000 vehicles

• Brake failures: 2,345 vehicles affected

• Local problems: have affected more than 300,000 vehicles

This is not a comprehensive list, and the combination of electronic, mechanical and finishing problems indicates that overall quality is a problem, not one specific aspect of Ford vehicle.

Data from Caared also supports this latest analysis; By mid -May, Ford collected 51 cancellation. Another nearest brand was the VW group with 14, so it is not even close.

Camera and electronics cause the most headaches

Rear -view camera withdrawal is the largest Ford to date in 2025. This affects everything from Escape Crossover to high -end models such as Lincoln Navigator and Nautilus. The camera screen image could freeze or show a delayed image that causes the driver to cause direct danger. The electrical systems consisted of 17 unique cancellation campaigns.
