What is your adventure taste?

According to the Tulare County Fairgrounds Marketing Director, the decision on the most popular attractions at the fair will depend on the taste of your honest adventure.

“There are a lot of people who say they come to food, but we also host four nights for national level concerts in our Groppetti Car Concert Pavilion, so some people come to shows,” she said.

“It really depends on who you are,” she added. “Everyone has a different answer.”

The annual demolition derby is another biggest attraction for many participants.

“We are delighted to bring it back,” Ryan said. “We either sell or sell very close to almost every year. It’s just a very fun event to Tulare County Motor Sports Community.”

Many food vendors will have at least one new item.

“This year we will have Korean corn dogs … They are fun and charming,” said Ryan.

Fair and patriotism

The theme of this year’s fair is “Stars, Barly and Carnival Lights”, re -combining the fair to patriotism.

“It is partly that the fair has fallen on September 11 in the last couple of years,” Ryan said. “This is something that is important to us to recognize every year, especially when an event believed to be full of happiness, joy, and whims of the day in which the US has such a difficult story in the US

The topics are chosen by the Tulare County Fairgrounds Board

“There are options offered by employees and board members, but eventually the official topic determines the Board’s vote,” Ryan said. “Our board felt particularly patriotic.

“We have a Tulame district blanket for Patriots, which we do every year,” she said. “It is a program and a ceremony to honor members of the service and veterans, and it is a community -led program.”

The fair is also famous for agricultural, 4-H and FFA programs, Ryan said.

“Our annual auction is always really good,” said Ryan. “It’s great to watch our community out and support these hardworking children, who spent all year long in the preparation of these truly impressive agricultural projects.”
