Several people died after two helicopters collided and crashed near the airport without leaving survivors.
A total of five people were killed in the City of Eura, near the EURA Airport in Southwest Finland, in the incident in the city, on Saturday, May 17, in the official statement of the Finnish National Investigation Bureau (NBI) on Saturday.
According to flight plans, one of the helicopters had two people and the other three, the Finnish police said. Both aircraft were destroyed by a collision and subsequent accident.
The emergency call reported the police about 12:35 p.m. Local time, while NBI reports the first responding persons “quickly” arrived at the scene at the scene. All five passengers were declared dead at the scene, and the authorities later revealed to the press conference on Sunday, May 18, for the broadcast of Estonian society.

Since then, the location of the disaster, the wooded area, has been isolated, the police said, adding that the helicopters were just over 300 feet apart.
Both helicopters involved in the accident were civilian and registered outside Finland, police said. According to NBI, they traveled from Tallinn, Estonia, to Pikajärvvi Kokemäki. (Piikajärvi Airport is approximately 9.3 miles from EURA Airport.)
The Finnish and Estonian authorities are now “closely cooperating in response to the accident,” said Johannes Sirilä, Chief Inspector of the NBI Detective.
NBI also cooperates with the Southwestern Finnish Police Department on an investigation, the office said. The police are currently investigating detailed helicopter information and the disaster itself.
The Safety Investigation Service also conducts its own investigation at the scene of the accident, through NBI.
NBI Robin Lardot said the study is currently concentrated on a distance between two aircraft, as well as their height fatal on 17 May. During the collision, the public broadcast of Estonia said.

When it comes to the cause of the accident, Tina Bieber with the Finnish Safety Investigation Service said investigators could not say whether it was a human mistake or a malfunction by the Estonian public broadcast.
Bieber also said the investigation could take from nine months to a year.
