Paris (Reuters) -Prime Minister Sebastia Lecorn, called on French political parties on Saturday to work together in recent days, “Funny Performance” because he is facing a budget on Monday.
President Emmanuel Macron’s decision to re -declare Lecorn has fascinated some of his fiercest opponents, who claim that the only way out of the worst French political crisis for decades is that the president or calls new legislative elections or resign.
Lecornu criticized the country with a political deadlock. “It’s funny to be a performance that the whole political world has been creating for a few days,” he said.
Budget approval still faces major obstacles
The Prime Minister urged political parties to overcome their differences to pass the budget by the end of the year, which is a decisive step in controlling the growing fiscal deficit of France.
“I set a pretty clear mission for myself, and then political forces will help me and we will work together to achieve it or not,” said Lecornu.
“It is about how we ensure that the social security budget is budget and the state budget on 31 December.”
Asked about the possible suspension of Macron pension reforms, Lecornu said “all the debate is possible as long as they are realistic”, signaling the possible flexibility due to the main demand for left -wing countries.
A few days after Lecornu resigned from the post, Macron again appointed his strong sponsor again when Lecorno resigned from the post, saying that there is no possibility of forming a government that could transfer the transferred budget account through deeply divided parliament.
Lecornu 27 days into this position turned it into the shortest prime minister in contemporary French history, but there is no guarantee that it will continue this time.
The left, hard left and extreme right -wing parties said they would vote for Lecornu, leaving it depending on the socialists whose leaders have so far been silent about their plans.
Lecornu is pressured.
The pension reform in a red line
By Monday, he must submit a draft budget draft – first to the cabinet and then the same day before the parliament. This means that by that time ministers responsible for finances, budget and social security must be appointed.
Neither the Elysee Palace nor the Lecornu Cabinet, Matignon, immediately pointed out when he could call his office or what could be in it.
The right -wing Les Republcains Party and Centrist UDI, who both participated in previous governments formed after last year’s SNAP election, said on Saturday in separate statements that they would not join the new cabinet led by Lecorn.
However, both parties have pledged to support the main publications of laws under certain conditions.
The management body of the Republic of Lithuania confirmed that “trust and conditions are not established” to participate in the Government, it is said. Nevertheless, its members “will be responsible and will not be chaos architects,” he added.
Pension reform remains the main red line when former Prime Minister Michel Barnier, a member of the Republic of Lithuania, expressing an objection to any suspension of the measure.
Lecornu seeks to reduce the deficit
On Friday, the X post said Lecornu that the one who joined his government would have to abandon his personal ambitions. Success Macron is the upcoming contest that has injected instability into the weak governments of French minorities and the tasteless legislator. He promised the “update and diversity” office.
Lecornu did not disclose any information about what is in the draft budget, but he said he resigned that next year the deficit should be reduced from 4.7% to 5% of economic production, higher than 4.6%, which its predecessor was directed. This year, the deficit is projected to be 5.4%.
All you have to do is find out what it will do by eliminating Macron’s pension reform and adding a property tax on billionaires – two measures that the socialists have made to support its government.
