It is alleged that former Mercury star Sophie Cunningham had a novel with married Suns and Mercury CEO Josh Bartelstein, based on the lawsuit.
Gene Traylor, a SunS employee and former safety, safety and risk management director, claims to have said to Bartelstein that Cornelius Craig, vice president of the franchise security and risk management, told people that Bartelstein allegedly had a connection with Cunningham.

The Traylor’s application states that racial discrimination and harassment, illegal issues of revenge and security.
“The plaintiff also shared with Barteltein that Craig had disseminated harmful information that could endanger the organization,” the Suns Legacy Partners’ lawsuit said this month this month.
“When Bartelstein asked the plaintiff to reveal what Craig was saying, the plaintiff explained that Craig said to others, ‘Josh Bartelstein is F – King Sophie Cunningham.”

Suns denied the accusation in a fiery statement filed with the Communications Stacey Mitch senior vice president.
