The Atlantic Hospital is currently revealing the horror story.
30 -year -old Adriana Smith was nine weeks pregnant when she was looking for treatment after intense headaches. According to a report by NBC’s subsidiary 11alive, the hospital did not take any attempts – just gave her medication and sent it home. The next morning, her boyfriend woke up to emit sounds that were believed to have caused internal bleeding. She was rushed to another hospital, where CT scanned revealed blood clots in her brain. It was later announced by Brain Dead, which means that she no longer lives legally.
Despite the fact that she will never get conscious, the body of Smith is alive by machines because her pregnancy has crossed three weeks exceeding the limit, which has been determined by the prohibition of Georgian abortion.
“It is tortured to me,” her mother April Newkirk told 11alive. “I see that the daughter is breathing, but she is not.”
It is a frightening reality of what Republicans created – that women are removed from their dignity to be seen as nothing but uterus. The GS has allowed this nightmare to take place as they refused to listen to medical professionals who told them that laws like Georgia would create complex scenarios. Now one family has to live with pain as well as a financial burden.
This Georgian woman is what Republicans want

Smith supports life for more than 90 days. Her pregnancy progressed for up to 21 weeks. When she reaches 32 weeks, doctors will try to deliver the baby, which means that until then her body is forced to continue her breath, essentially the ship’s unborn child. According to Newkko, the baby may be born with health complications due to his cerebrospinal fluid.
“This decision had to be left to us,” she told 11alive. “Now we are wondering what life he will have – and we will grow it.”
Opinion: This is official: Trump is a historical failure and we finally recognize it
Together with his unborn child, Smith leaves his son. The child visited his mother in the hospital and believes he was asleep.
Although Newkirk says he does not know whether the family would have chosen to terminate his pregnancy, their choice was not even given because doctors must follow the state’s six -week abortion insurance. If Roe before Wade had been the land law, they would have chosen. According to legislators, Smith is no longer in danger – a situation where doctors will be allowed to have an abortion.
Imagine that this is your daughter – mother, girl, man who is treated as less than a person to protect a fetus growing inside her. Imagine you know she died and is unable to plan a funeral service or even sadness because her body is still breathing. Imagine knowing that greeting a child in the world would mean an impending impending death.

This Georgian case is not an anomaly. Women suffered.
This is not the first cruelty to the Georgian insurance abortions. Last year, Propaina reported that two women died of pregnancy and aborted questions after the ban came into force in 2022. Despite these unimaginably gloomy stories, Republicans are still choosing against abortion, regardless of the dangers it poses for women.
Opinion: Congratulations, Republicans! The fear of your pronouns is the compaction of the economy.
This is a new normal that Republicans fought for. Even after this tragedy, members of the party refuse to take responsibility for this terrible scenario.
“I think it’s an unusual circumstance, but I think it emphasizes the value of an innocent person’s life,” Georgia elder Ed Setzler, one of six weeks of insurance abortions, told Associated Press. “I think the hospital works properly.”
Although Smith and her boyfriend wanted this child, it is important to note that after nine weeks, its fruit will barely pass through the embryo scene and could not survive independently. Choosing what happened next should not be left to legislators who do not affect hospital accounts and emotional pain. It had to be left to the family.
It’s not about women’s protection. It was never about protecting women.
