Dresden woman was convicted after sexual battery sentences

He had no other beliefs or convictions and criminal records and was at a low risk of recidivism, he added.

Stads apologized for the sadness, confusion and discomfort caused by the victim.

“I wish I could go back. I am very sorry about the events of March 4, 2024,” she said in court.

“I’m not usually the one who survives reckless or negligently,” she continued. “That night was not a woman I am, or the woman I seek to be.”

“This night will be convicted,” Cottrill said. “It has caused your dangerous lifestyle and now there is a victim.”

He acknowledged Stotts for its sobriety, attended weekly therapy sessions and a large support system that provided at least 29 letters on her behalf.

“It’s a really difficult case,” Cottrill added.

Stotts received three two -year penalties at the same time. After releasing, she will have to register as a 3 -step sexual offender.
