Dekalb County, GA. – The Georgian Research Bureau revealed a new information about last Friday shooting at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention at Atlanta at a press conference on Tuesday morning.
What they say
GBI director Chris Hosey confirmed that 30-year-old Patrick Joseph White had no known criminal history, but recently expressed the idea of suicide, so police contacted a few weeks before the shooting.

GBI says 500 shots were fired and about 200 rounds struck six CDC buildings, although no employees were injured. The investigation discovered written documents expressing White’s mistrust with the Covid-19 vaccines, which researchers described as a personal statement, not as a direct threat.
The authorities say White invaded the safe in his family home to enter the firearms – a mixture of rifles, rifle, and possibly a manual pistol belonging to his father. Most of the shell housing recovered from a long pistol. White reportedly died of a self -made gunshot wound.
GBI confirmed that David Rose was shot and killed in response to the incident. “He served in honor, courage and boring dedication,” Hosey said. “His sacrifice will never be forgotten.”
The FBI Special Agent responsible for Paul Brown said the federal SWAT team had cleaned the CDC town room after shooting to ensure that no victim was inside. The nearby day care was evacuated, and all the children were safely merged with their families.
To date, five firearms, electronic devices and video evidence have been recovered. FBI and GBI are asking for all those with additional footage or information, contact Tip Line 1-800-597-Tips or use the “Send someone, Send someone” program.
Officials also argued that the shooting did not see the increased threat to the CDC, but maintained close contact with the CDC security to share any intelligence.
Hosey and Brown were joined by the interim police chief Gregory Padrick from the Decaling District Police Department; Assistant to Carven Tyus from the Atlantic Police Department; Chief Burge Buchtin from Emory University Police Department and others.

Fox 5 Atlanta also received a 911 call called by Patrick White’s father to Cobb County. We invite White’s father tells 911 dispatcher that he fears his son was able to participate in the shooting. He also says he called the Dekalb 911 number three times and left detailed messages, but no one called him back, he finally turned to Cobb, hoping to talk to a detective that previously helped the family.
The records from the COBB County 911 indicate that the White address was mentioned in 11 different calls from 2024. June By the day of the shooting:

What we know
David Rose was killed when he replied to the Active Sagittarius CDC just before 8 August. At 5pm.
Later, the authorities found the accused Sagittarius as Patrick Joseph White of Kennesaw, who blamed the Covid-19 vaccine for making him depressed and suicidal. White died during the incident, though the officers did not say whether he was killed by the police or took his life.
The attack left the CDC campus scar, and the staff is shocked to encourage the agency’s union calls to seek stronger security measures.
HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. visited the CDC ROYBAL town on Monday. He reportedly also visited the wife of a Decal -County police officer, David Rose, who was killed, when he responded to the shooting reports.
