A new video shows a struggle against man

Update (October 9, 18:15): New details and new videos show what happened until the man was pulled out of miles to death.

Mobile police said the victim was just trying to be good Samaritan when everything turned dark.

A video sent by News 5 shows a fight that arose before the murder between the suspect and the victim.

The man was found dead behind a house near the Dawes Lane, two miles from where the police said he was crossed at the Circle K gas station at the corner of Schillinger and three notches in the corner of Tillman Wednesday night.

“So, unfortunately, the wrong place, the wrong time,” said Blake Brown, the head of the mobile city.

Police said the victim, found as Sam Walker, 57, appealed to two people disputed in a gas station parking lot.

“The suspect was at that place, with some disagreement with a woman who was already in the amenities shop at the time,” Brown said. “The victim appeared when they had finished their arguments and said a few words to the suspect. At that time, the suspect and the victim became very aggressive. He began to break the victim by physically attacking him in the parking lot.”

Police said that when the suspect, Jacob Cross, 30, struck Walker with his vehicle and drove home.

“Unfortunately, the victim was stuck underneath the car, with about two miles throughout the ride,” Brown said. “When they went to Dawes Lane East, the victim was located next to the vehicle. And we were able to arrest. ”

Jacob Cross is accused of murder and leaves the scene of the incident. Prison records show that he must be in court on Friday at a bond hearing.

Update (October 9, 9:45 p.m.): On Wednesday night, the Mobile Police Department found a suspect and victim in the murder of Schilllinger’s road.

According to officials, Sam Walker, 57, was found dead near the vehicle 4,400 Dawes Lane East.

Officials were summoned to Circle K 4880 Schillinger Road to the south, about 18:20 on 8 October, due to a report of the person struck by the vehicle.

When the officers arrived, they found that the vehicle driven by 30-year-old Jacob Cross had already left the scene with a Walker stuck underneath, officials say.

Officials found a Dawes Lane East vehicle where they found Walker.

MPD officials said there was a fight between Walker and Cross, which is when Cross intentionally struck Walker with his vehicle.

The cross was arrested and accused of murder, as well as leaving the scene of the incident.

Update (9:33 p.m.): The killing investigation led the mobile police to the nearby houses.

According to the police, the body of a deceased man was found at home at Dawes Lane East. The blood trail can be visible, leading home.

From the house where the body was found, a truck was visible.

Mobile police say the investigation is still ongoing. News 5 will continue to update this article when more information is available.

Update (8:51 p.m.): The Mobile Police Department confirmed that the victim is dead and is now being investigated as a murder.

Officials say the Circle K battle was on the Road of Schillinger. It is possible that the vehicle is related, although it is not confirmed if the man shocked it.
