Apple could have a lot of exciting products next year, with as many as 15 new releases. Or so says Mark Gurman in the latest issue of his Power On newsletter. It’s clear that Apple is having “one of the most important years in recent memory,” and new products play a key role here.
The iPhone 17e, 12th-generation iPad (with A18 chip), iPad Air M4, MacBook Air M5, MacBook Pro with M5 Pro and M5 Max, and some new Mac monitors should arrive “early in the year.” None of this is particularly surprising, but it should help start Apple’s 50th anniversary year off with a bang.
Gurman also expects the long-awaited update to Siri, which adds artificial intelligence capabilities to the voice assistant, to be ready sometime in March or April. It should arrive around the same time as Apple’s Smart Display, which will be available with a speaker base or wall mount. Gurman notes that this should be the basis for expanding Apple’s smart home offerings, with products such as cameras coming later this year.
WWDC in June will undoubtedly see updates to iOS 27, macOS 27, and Apple’s widgets for other operating systems, but Gurman believes they will be accompanied by major updates to Apple Intelligence. Artificial intelligence has been underwhelming this year, likely due to Siri’s delay, so Apple needs to get back into the act soon.

Naturally, the usual iPhone releases should follow, including the iPhone 18 Pro with Apple’s C2 modem and the foldable iPhone Fold. There’s no mention of an iPhone 18, which is worrying since Apple is rumored to be skipping its usual fall release in favor of a 2027 release. will appear in the spring.
Finally, in 2026 new MacBook Pros with M6 Pro and M6 Max chips and an all-new design refresh will be released at the end of the year. Gurman says this will result in a slimmer chassis and will also introduce the first touchscreens on any Mac device. This will apparently coincide with the M5 upgrade to the Mac mini and Mac Studio.
I’m not sure why Apple would switch to the M6 Pro and Max so quickly after the launch of the M5 counterparts, but Apple is doing a lot of things that I can’t explain. Whether it’s the regular M6 or the Pro/Max variants, it looks like Apple still has a lot to offer next year.
