Berwyn, Ill. – Assistant principal of high school in the Western suburb Berwyn and her mother are among three people killed in a shooting near school on Tuesday afternoon.
Nerissa Lee, assistant principal at Lincoln High School, was killed at the time of the shooting, which took place near school around 4 pm, based on the message shared by superintendent dr. Michelle Smith, Berwyn North School District 98th Social Media and distributed throughout the area.
The marshmatory found that the second victim was 76 -year -old Joycelyn Everage, the mother of Lee, who was in the car with her at the time of the shooting.

The Cook County was identified by a suspected arms carrier as Steven Lee, a 54 -year -old man in Nerisa Lee. Berwyn police say he is a gunman who fatally shot after shooting Lee and Everage what Berwyn police said he was with a household incident.
The district reported on Tuesday that none of the murdered persons were a student of Lincoln High School who was closed on Wednesday after the shooting.

“With great sadness, I will tell you that Nerissa Lee, the assistant to Lincoln High School, lost her life in a tragic (Tuesday) shooting outside Lincoln.
“Lincoln’s teaching will be updated (Thursday) and consultants will be available. The well -being of our students and staff remains a priority. As a reminder, it was an incident in domestic violence and is not a constant threat to the school community.
‘Thank you for your support at this difficult time. ‘
Berwyn police said officers heard a gun fire near Lincoln High School immediately after Tuesday at 4 p.m. The school day is over, but many students and staff are still involved in the shooting.
Upon arrival, the officers testified to a suspected man shooting a rifle on the vehicle right next to the school. Both Lee and Everage were killed inside the car.
Officials said the respondents founded the suspect and covered it, but the police did not return the fire until the gunmen shot and killed themselves.
“I didn’t want to go beyond”
Shana Everage says her sister and stepdaughter since June. He organized household problems and a weapon that happened until recently Monday night, September 15th.
“They’re my family. It’s a terrible thing. I have a lot of emotions, I don’t know what to feel,” she said.
On Wednesday, speaking behind her home at WGN-TV, Shana Everage said her mother was choosing Lee from Lincoln High School to take her to the police station to submit a message before shooting.
“I know my mom loved me and my sister, and she wanted her to be best for the situation,” Everage said. “It was also difficult for her. She tried to give my sister to bring her together, which apparently did not happen. She didn’t want to go beyond any boundaries. Although she was her mother, my sister was still grown. She wanted to retreat to find out.”
According to Everage, she had to go with her mother to pick up her sister, but received a phone call from her old Sunday school teacher and decided to stay home. She regrets that she would probably have been in the vehicle when a deadly shooting occurred.
“We talked and I think it really was on the phone and I talked so much to the time my mom was going to leave, and I was, ‘Well, I’m not even going to go.’ But I think it was a good thing because I would probably not be here in the end. ”
Reflecting on his sister’s term at Lincoln High School, Shana Everage revealed that Lee has been in the last two years after he taught several years and loved his job.
