Many people “Bugatti” would be considered an exclusive brand. The minimum purchase of one of the luxury models of the manufacturer is currently around $ 5 million. USD, it is believed that you can get on the list so you can actually buy it. However, the wealthy guys hate to share anything, so Bugatti is going to offer a series of disposable models to their most demanding (and the richest) customers. The first of these will be the car you see here, the one -time Bugatti Brouillard, Bugatti Brouillard, will make Monterey Speed Week debut.
Brouillard is essentially named Etore Bugatti’s favorite horse, is basically a version of the Mistral Roadster coupe. Underneath it is the same Carbonfiber Core architecture and four turbocharger W-16 as Mistral, but almost every exterior panel is different. Brouillard is also the first one that Bugatti says will be a “unique commissions” series that will be sold under the Solitail subgroup. Design Director Frank Heyl says it is planned to produce no more than two of these disposable measures per year, allowing buyers to make “unprecedented changes in car body and external elements … a process similar to bus creation.”
A mistake
The Road & Track was invited to the Bugatti Berlin Design Studio last month, where we saw the entire size of the external car model. It didn’t have a finished interior – what Monterey car would have, but Bugatti released the images presented to those who can’t get into the rope to see the concept in person.
Apparently, the finished car will be delivered to its customer in 2027, the company does not disclose his name, but says the buyer is “one of the world’s leading Bugatti customers”.
A mistake
The mechanical parts are largely unchanged from Mistral, Brouillard, using the same 1578 hp version with a long-lived 8.0-liter, four-speed W-16 turbocharger engine and seven-speed double clutch transmission. The car will be delivered in Europe, which means that it was sold in the process of an individual type approval, rather than to the whole homology that would have had to try several examples.
Although the details of the dimensions have not been released, the Bugatti design team confirms that the brouillard is longer than Mistral and the extra length at the elongated front end. This still includes the Bugatti traditional horseshoe radiator grille, one of the details that Heyl said is undeniable, one -off models.
A mistake
Although the outer side profile is similar to the Mistral profile, tightly wrapped and sculptural than crooked Chiron, the brouillard roof is obviously completely new compared to the always open rhodster. This will include both transparent glass canopy and elongated milling from firm intake trumpets. At the rear end is a fixed wing element above the Mistral X -shaped rear lamps, one of the few external external components of the car.
The interior architecture is very similar to Mistral, but Bugatti, a BUILLARD buyer, has given the design team full power to choose a radical color and finish. The theme of the horse was continued with the graphics of horse networks included in the seats and door cards made of tartan material, partially created from a real horse. (Horse lovers will be happy to confirm that this is removed without compromising the animals themselves.)
A mistake
A little more on the nose and allowing less fashionable outlet output than r & t to be completely predictable The godfather Anecdotes is the fact that the gear re-selection has an image of aluminum grinding horse heads in the glass. Another inclination to the pony theme is horseshoe -shaped elements in huge alloy rims.
How much does it all cost? You will probably be surprised to hear that Bugatti will not say, though Heyl admits that it will be “several times” at the cost of one of the usual manufacturer models. “Remember that the retail price must recover the entire project investment,” he says. Which – and we guess here probably means it north of $ 15 million. USD. All because of the ability to detain other owners who will suddenly look like “Common Ar-Garden Bugattis”.
While Heyl refused to reject other Solitaire disposable, based on the soon-to-be-changing W-16 platform, he confirmed that the next generation V-16 architecture, which would support the future Bugatti Tourbillon, would be much better applied as the basis for other rare disposable disposable expressions. So if you are already on the Tourbillon list, why not open negotiations on adding your completely unique model to your order?
