According to a report from TMZin 2025 over the summer, Bryan allegedly assaulted his then-girlfriend, punching and threatening to kill her during an explosive argument.
Court documents detail specific allegations that the “Home Improvement” star allegedly beat his partner in July after she “bit his nipple” while they were sleeping together.
Days later, the unnamed woman reportedly told law enforcement officials she feared for her safety after she and Bryan allegedly got into a verbal altercation in which he was accused of telling her to “shut up or I’ll shut you up.”

But the horrific allegations don’t stop there. During the couple’s alleged verbal altercation, the woman told law enforcement that Bryan not only took their dog and locked her in a separate room, but also allegedly punched the door so hard that it came off the frame.

Bryan has had several run-ins with the law since leaving the ABC sitcom with Tim Allen.
According to Fox News, the actor was previously arrested in 2020. and pleads guilty after allegedly trying to strangle his then-girlfriend Johnnie Faye Cartwright in her Oregon apartment.
Bryan was charged with “threatening-domestic violence and fourth-degree assault-domestic violence.”
While pleading guilty, the actor reportedly dismissed the seriousness of the allegations against him and said in a separate interview that the situation had been “blown out of proportion”.

And Bryan’s legal troubles don’t end there, considering he was arrested in Oklahoma for driving under the influence, according to Fox News.
It is reported that in 2024 in October in the early hours of the morning, police found Bryan asleep at the wheel of his Range Rover on the side of the road. The officer parked his patrol vehicle across the road from Bryan and later initiated traffic when Bryan’s vehicle passed him.
Bryan apologized while in the officer’s patrol car and admitted to being a big fan of alcohol. “I’m just a good dude, man, I don’t know why everybody — sorry, I like to drink,” he said.
Months earlier, Bryan was arrested again in California and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs and contempt of court after officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle they believed was involved in a “recent traffic collision.”

Court documents obtained by InTouch revealed that Bryan made a deal with a man named Cameron Moore who agreed to advance $60,000 to Bryan and his production company for the film project.
Moore was to be refunded $60,000, plus $12,000 in interest and a share of the film’s profits.
Despite fulfilling his duties, Moore never received the promised funds, prompting a lawsuit in which he claimed economic damages.
The court ruled in his favor and allowed him to forfeit all royalties owed to Bryan until the six-figure debt was paid in full.
