These days are missing great phones. Whether you choose Apple, Samsung, Google or one of the Chinese brands such as OnePlus or Xiaomi, choose from them flagship and it will be difficult for you to find a bad phone. They all offer great designs, amazing camera options in most cases and the right power.
But when it comes to phones that give you a little different, well, then you are more challenging. You will find manufacturers’ design and options, but in the end, many flagship phones have flat sides, large screens with Punch Hole front cameras and some form at the back of a large camera body.

Occasionally we are treated with what breaks the mold. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge did so in May, when its 5.8mm frame reminded us of what phones were like. Apple has now followed an example. I spent a week with the iPhone Air, so it’s not just a thinner iPhone, but your attention is worth your phone.

Why does everyone talk about the iPhone Air?
Apple during your September The event was announced by four new iPhones, but despite the standard iPhone 17, there were some of the most important updates this year, and the iPhone 17 Pro sees some design shock, all the language is on the iPhone Air.
Mostly because it is the “thinnest iPhone” ever created by the company, and it automatically makes it more interesting than other models. Its 5.6mm frame means that it is slightly thinner than the Galaxy S25 Edge, and just Samsung’s phone appeared when it appeared at the beginning of this year, the weather is just as innovative and impressive.

It’s easy to look at the measurement and think it’s not a big deal, but hold it in your hand and think again. It is glorious to use, and it stems from what was more satisfied with the iPhone 16 Pro Max last year. A thin frame and a lightweight weight (165 g) make a refreshing change in smartphones that we are so used to that you will be pleasantly surprised every time you pick it up.

What do you compromise on the thinner iPhone?
Despite the fact that I immediately appreciated the design when I started reviewing the iPhone Air, I will admit that I was very hoping to say that you would make too much compromise to make a thin structure. Still, I can’t say that because it would not be true.
This does not mean that there is no compromise because there is a couple, but the couple is much less than I thought. The first is the camera you may have guessed if you look at the iPhone at the end of the air, not the dazzling correct frame.

There is only one camera lens on the back that is the same main sensor as the iPhone 17. Fortunately, it makes great photos and is more than capable of all lighting conditions, but you will get more cameras both in the cheaper iPhone 17 and the more expensive iPhone 17 Pro. It is worth noting that the front camera is the same as those models as the screen technology.
The second is a shorter battery life than other iPhone 17 models. It is said to offer 27 hours compared to the 30 -hour iPhone 17 and 31 hours iPhone 17 Pro. But it is a bit too, but the battery life is almost identical to the iPhone 17 in my test. None of them hit the shapes they demanded, but they both attract you a day and in the evening. I say that while you expected the battery will be terrible, it is actually very honorable to such a thin device.

The third and last compromise is the price. You pay the premium for a thin design and if you are going to put a tray on it, I would definitely not bother you to get this phone because you lose what immediately makes it special. If you are lucky with one camera lens, the highest design cost and a few hours less battery iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone Air is a wonderful and my new favorite iPhone.
