I wore Airpods Pro 3 every week to every workout – here’s my honest review

As a marathon runner, I have always maintained a love/hatred relationship with Apple Airpods Pro. I like the sound quality when I run to the wind, I try to listen to podcast, but I always fight fit – my headphones slowly slip out of my ears when I go further to my run, never annoyed me.

That is, until the Airpods Pro 3 fell on my desk. I was more excited about the new Apple headphones than I talked about the Apple Watch 11 or the Apple Watch Ultra 3.

I carried them for weekly training, starting from rain training to sessions in the gym and almost everything in the last week. Here are high and lowlands.

They fit really well

Apple finally did it. They created an Airpod set that remains in my ears no matter how much I miss, jump or jump during my workout. I found a new suitability much more than the previous Airpods Pro sets, and I could easily move to a smaller headset. The biggest replacement of the Airpods Pro 3 is a gloomy tip at the back of the bud. This foam infusion feels different from the older models used in silicone, making them much more comfortable.

Apple says the active Pro 3 noise wipe (anc) is twice as effective as the previous model. I decided to try Airpods in one of the noisiest environments I know (London subway) on my morning trip to work and back. Pro 3 did a great job to filter unwanted noise to hear my sound book with great sound. I’m sorry, readers, I tend to listen to books and online broadcasts, but here’s my audio editor’s colleague thinking about sound quality in more detail.

I move to music once is the last long -term mile when I need extra motivation to make my feet move. I tend to avoid using anc when I go for security reasons, but one windy day on the Thames Road, I turned it on it safely that I was not going to face any flow. It was really amazing, and I could really notice the difference compared to the Airpods Pro 2.

I will admit, I am skeptical of my heart rate monitor, trying to have Powerbeats Pro 2. However, the Airpods Pro 3 was almost noticeable in training when I compared it to my Apple Watch data. I was also able to go out for a walk, watch and use my Airpods to make sure I would continue to close my rings.

My colleague Nick Harris-Fry tried the Airpods Pro 3 heart rate monitor before running his chest belt and was also impressed.

There’s not much to complain about

I haven’t tried direct translation functions yet, but in general I am impressed with the Airpods Pro 3. Would I invest if I had a couple Airpods Pro 2 to my ears? I think the answer is as much as you mean to your heart rate. However, if you have an older Airpod, or you are looking for a pair of ear buds that will face the most practical workouts, they are difficult to overcome.
