Las Vegas’s neighborhood overwhelmed 600 or more in illegally parked car cultivation church

Las Vegas (Class) – Members of Las Vegas Church said hundreds of illegally parked cars occur once a year, but neighbors disagree throughout their lives and are worried about the county voting for property development.

Hamere Noah Kidane Mihret and Saint Michael Ethiopian Orthodox Church hosted a morning holiday ceremony, which neighbors say they brought more than 600 cars, mostly parked illegally when “without parking” signs.

Neighbors called 8 News now to see the parking lot that drove through a mile, blocking the entire Lindell way to West Russell Road. One member stated that the parking lot was illegal by signs, but not a problem, as the county did not comply with “without parking” rules.

“We respect and appreciate the diversity of our neighborhood,” said Daria Wu. “But the congregation seems to have been able to grow infrastructure that our neighbor can support.”

Wu and a group of its neighbors gathered to pay attention to the problems they encountered during the church ministry: speeding cars, stop marking and cars illegally parked.

“It’s not great if you sometimes block your driveway by someone’s car,” she said.

Neighbors said they contacted Clark County Commissioner Michael Oil and used the Fixit program as they were told, but nothing has changed over the last few years.

“We document and provide that evidence, and we found that there is no further action,” Wu said.

The elder of the church told 8 news. Now the lawyer will call the television station to the term, but the call has not been returned. 8 News now asked for a representative or a leader from the church, but they were not told that no one was available and call their number, which was called without answering. The church was also sent by email. Letter without any answer.

Currently, the Church is waiting for approval for the development of the Board of Clark County Commissioners.

“We would like to evaluate the possible development, which also includes a commercial kitchen that really needs to be taken into account how it would affect our neighborhood,” Wu said. “And again this expectation [rural preservation neighborhood] too. “

Further into the flow of illegally parked cars are Peter and Carol Sidlow, who are 30 -year -old neighborhoods, home. When the church opened around 2012, Carol and some other neighbors passed the gift bag to greet the congregation area.

“We brought flowers, brought them gifts and stayed a little,” Carol said. “But we welcomed them because this is the thing to do.”

Carol and Peter say the car park problems began almost as soon as the church congregation began to grow, in the parking lot on the lawn and drives.
