Lorain, Ohio (WJW). One of the Lorain police officers shot at an ambush died, the Lorain Police Department said Thursday.
According to the department, Officer Phillip Wagner, a 35 -year -old man hired in the department in 2022, died Thursday, surrounded by those he loved at Metrohealth Medical Center in Cleveland.

According to Lorain County Coroner, a man accused of three local officials was found to be found as 28 -year -old Michael Parker.

On Wednesday night, officers were also found and removed from the suspect’s home on the North Lakeeview Boulevard and removed from the suspect’s house.
The suspect was believed to be the only person involved in the shooting.
