In the memorandum of Oklahoma legislators, the State Service Service of Management and Enterprise Services says it “cannot determine exactly whether the incident occurred”, which was attended by images of naked women displayed on television at the State Education Board of the State School Superintendent.
The document, which the Oklahoman received on Tuesday, July 29, explains how the agency’s investigation began, how the investigation was revealed and what the officials have found so far. Omes Memo has no languages to clean Walters, although he several times on Tuesday demanded it cleaned up by the agency.
“We are currently looking forward to the word of the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s office about other investigative actions, according to a memorandum.
The Memorandum states that three sheriff’s deputies on Monday joined Ome officials at the Oliver Hodge Hodge building of Oklahoma State Education Department in the Capitol Complex.
Based on the memorandum, they found:
• Television had access to the cable, broadcasting services, connected to an empty DVD player and was equipped with a dipole antenna.
• The television was connected to the state’s open WiFi network.
• To access the screen casting on TV, one -off code was required to limit the number of people with the opportunity to the device.
• The television search story was empty.
• Earlier, television belonged to a former Education Agency employee and was transferred earlier this month to the Superintendent’s Office. The employee’s account was still connected to Youtube TV, but according to the new IP address.
• Due to the hundreds of pre -uploaded programs on television, the broadcast service has not been provided with a detailed view as the television remained on the spot.
• Walters told them that many employees, board members and society could enter his office during meetings.
According to Memorandum, Walters on Monday contacted Omes’ and asked Omeso to investigate the Osde equipment. The only device asked to investigate was the 55 -inch Samsung TV at Walters Office. The memorandum does not mention other Walters devices such as laptop or mobile.
Omes stated that in a memorandum he could only review technology at the agency’s request, unless the legislator, law enforcement or judicial system points out otherwise. Omes also stated that “he cannot review other state or personal devices without that agency and / or permission of persons”.
During the Tuesday press conference, Walters said several studies showed that his “devices were never related to the TV”.
He also referred the question of the potential for the streaming of the TV content, re -describing it as “cable television”.
He left the press conference without saying whether he would give the Sheriff’s service or the permission to examine other devices. According to the memorandum, Omes was informed that the wireless points were used in the Walters Office Board meetings, but it could not independently verify that information. Ome can only monitor state wireless networks, according to memory.
The Memorandum says a member of the Board filed a written complaint about the content they said he saw on television. That board member is Becky Carson from Edmond.
Carson and second board member Ryan Deathrage from Kingfisher told Oklahoman on Friday that they saw images of naked women and the board met at the Walters office on Thursday. The State Board was at the Walters Office at the Executive Session, which discussed teachers’ licensing, student attendance appeal and other sensitive problems.
Walters, chairman of the Board, has denied knowing the content of television or the content responsible.
“Any suggestion that my device was used to broadcast the wrong content in the TV kit is categorically false,” he said. “I have no knowledge of what was on the TV screen during an alleged event, and there is absolutely no truth to make illegal actions.”
According to Memorandum, Carson’s complaint includes “the request that (Walters) computers, personal devices and cell phones he uses in his office using government resources will be preserved to ensure that any pornography is preserved.” Oklahoman filed an Omes open record request for a copy of Carson’s complaint.
After receiving a complaint, Omes said “then contacted the Oklahoma County Sheriff and the Oklahoma State Research Bureau for many caution and recognition that the Omes is not a law enforcement agency and has no authority to investigate such issues.”
Ryan Walters of Oklahoma Schools speaks at a press conference at the Oklahoma Capitol after the allegations of nudity shown in 2025. Tuesday, July 29, at the Oklahoma City School Council meeting.
Osbi spokesman Hunter McKee told Oklahoman on Monday that the agency was also contacted and “if something is considered a criminal, we will be ready to help” the Sheriff’s service if she asked for help.
At his press conference on Tuesday, Walters said he was not only cleaned with Omes but also the Oklahoma County Sheriff. A spokesman for the latter agency said no one had been abolished by an investigation of illegal activities and that what happened.
Walters accused the head of government, Kevin Stitt for the help of the drama orchestration of his latest appointments to the Oklahoma State Education Council, including Carson and Deathrage. Stitt and Walters, both Republicans, were locked in a political rage for several months.
Legislators responded to Walters on Tuesday to repeat their calls to view the outside.
“From the beginning, I stated that a transparent overview of this situation in third countries was needed,” said Kyle Hilbert, chairman of the R-Bristow Palace. “Despite the thoughts of the state superintendent, he deserves to be treated as innocent until the guilty of guilty, the same as in this situation. As the chairwoman of the house, my desire is to allow an independent investigation and wherever that investigation is conducted, the house is ready to take appropriate action if needed.”
Andy Fugate, D-Del City-City is not a Walters fan, said he didn’t know what to believe, each side tells controversial stories.
“When worshiping the superintendent, he deserves a comprehensive and detailed study that he must be part of the desire,” Fugate said. “If nothing more, he should be interested in cleaning his name, instead of going out and just attacking everyone else, whether he blame the governor, he blame the school board members, he blames the” awakened “media. At the end of the day. Buck stops at his desk and we want to know what’s going on.”
