Palmian beach temples are preparing to mark Jewish High Holy Days

Last year, Jews were particularly complicated worldwide, as anti -Semitism was growing and spread with global unrest.

However, as the Holy Day approaches, the Jewish community of Palm Bych provides hope for peace, resistance and treatment.

“This past year continued to be a challenge and complexity, especially for the Jewish people, as well as for America and the world in general,” Rabbi Moshe Scheiner of Palm Beach Synagogue told Daily News.

“However, when we encounter misfortunes, we have seen extraordinary unity, strength and faith. Rosh Hashanah marks the creation of the world and therefore the season of reflection, repentance and renewal. We pray that it will bring health, happiness and peace to us and humanity as a whole.”

Rabbi Zalman Levitin from Chabad Palm Bych’s home agreed that the Jewish high sacred days mark the season of joy, reflection and fresh start.

“As Rosh Hashanah approaches and a whole new year, it’s time to reflect on last year and consider how we can improve in the coming years,” he said. “Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerssohn, taught that at personal level we can express spiritual growth resolutions that have a direct impact on all areas of our lives, and that at the global level Rosh Hashanah marks Adam and the eve of all humanity.

“So when Jews gather in the Rosh Hashanah synagogue, we get involved in the level of our souls where we are all related, and we are all created in the image of God and deserving of kindness and respect, not only thinking but practical action.”

The Jewish New Year Festival Rosh Hashanah is planned on September 22-24. It is marked with shofar blowing and begins for 10 days of repentance, which is culminated in Yom Kippure on October 1 and 2.
