York County, Penn. – One homeless puppy is safe this week and is reliable after he walked around the village of Pennsylvania alone and with his head stuck inside a plastic jar.
About one -year -old Shepherd Kollie mixture the dog first noticed an early Monday morning volunteer with a central PA dog rescue (CRCPA). At that time the dog already had a jar on his head.
CRCPA officials believe that its previous owner may have refused the puppy. For some time, it is left to hunt and find food independently, and she found herself in a difficult situation.
“We guess she probably survived trash somewhere and then went there to buy food or smell,” said Janelle George, a CRCPA volunteer. “And the way a jar is inserted, it stuck around her collar.”

George noted how a jar is a major risk for the dog because it restricted its ability to see and smell its surroundings while she was lost and tried to surf the area herself.
Jard also pose a risk of suffocation, restricting the dog’s ability to breathe, especially when she drove only an unfamiliar area and scared.
“It’s really wonderful she’s still alive,” George said.
After the puppy was noticed, CRCPA along with Find Toby – PA – an organization that unites lost pets to find it.

It was rushed to the shore Veterinary Aid Center, where medical staff found that it had a lack of weight, severely dehydrated and infected with ticks. She is now healing and taking care of her, said George.
In addition, the puppy was given a name inspired by her experience: Dallas Chaddar. Dallas, after a drone pilot, which set it up in the corn field, and cheddar, as the jar on his head was originally dedicated to the cheese balls.
“We all thought it was a Pretzel container, and when we got closer, we were, ‘Oh, she likes cheddar cheese balls,” George said. “So, it just added a little extra story.”
