Pilevre calls Canada to appoint a Bishnoi Gang terrorist group

Conservative leader Pierre Pililievre has included his vote in the list of politicians calling for the federal government to publish a gang in India, a terrorist organization in Canada.

Speaking in Surrey, BC, Wednesday, where police say they received 10 asset extortion reports within six months, she asked Lawrence Bishnoi to be included in the list of Canadian terrorist organizations.

“There is now evidence that their violence is related to terrorism and political motivations,” said Pililievre.

BC police said the provincial members of the South Asian community were printed for cash in threatening death or violence, and Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang was linked to some of those threats.

For example, the Surrey businessman received threats claiming $ 2 million, and the business with whom it is associated with was the goals of Gunfire three times.

The Bishnoi gang is also associated with extortion and targeted shootings in the Ontario Peel region, Brappton Patrick Brown said earlier.

Pililievre said the appointed bishnoi gang terrorist entity would give the police more power to fight the group’s activities.

“Law enforcement told about the organized chaos and the violence that the group did in our country, and so the mayors also said that the prime ministers also said … This organization should be included in the list of forbidden terrorists,” he said.

Other political leaders calling for terrorism label are Brown, BC Prime Minister David Eby and Alberta Prime Minister Danielle Smith. The Conservatives asked for an appointment last week, but Wednesday was the first time Pililievre publicly addressed the issue.

Any group, marked by a terrorist entity, can be of serious criminal and financial consequences. Banks can freeze the property and the police can charge anyone who financially or materially supports such a group.

Simon LaFortune, Secretary of Press Minister of Public Security, did not say whether the bishnoi gang is being considered on the list of terrorists, explaining the Government’s “national security experts to independently evaluate and make recommendations, whether any entity complies with the Criminal Code.

“This process is strict and continued, and all potential threats are constantly appreciated to ensure that we protect Canadians,” he added.

The Federal Government has taken similar actions with seven criminal organizations, including cartels and street gangs associated with fentanyl trade. Among them are Jalisco New Generation and Sinalaoa cartels, the two largest and most powerful Mexican organized crime groups.

Canadian police sources said CBC News that the bishnoi gang is one of many criminal companies in northern India, which has spread to North America in recent years.

Founder of the Group, 32 -year -old Lawrence Bishnoi, since 2014 There are Indian prisons, “but its network is wide and wide,” said Pililivre on Wednesday.

“His organization adopts orders from him and executes extortion and other crimes worldwide,” the Conservative leader said.

Indian media described the extortion of property as one of the greatest gang sources at home and abroad.

Wednesday’s press conference was the first Plilievre media opportunity since Monday’s win in Monday voting in Alberta village.

He took advantage of the Surrey stop to condemn the liberal reaction to crime. Pililievre supports mandatory prison time for people, found guilty of extortion.

He also wants the government to abolish the draft C-5 law, which has expanded the availability of conditional punishment, allowing some convicts to spend time with a home seizure, and Bill C-75, which requires judges to liberate some people accused of crime, “early-reasoned possibilities.”
