The suspect was arrested for double murder in Arkansas Park, after a married couple found a dead footpath over the weekend, the authorities said.
James Andrew McGann (28) from Springdale, Arkansas, was accused of two capital murders estimates 43 -year -old Clinton David and his wives, 41 -year -old Cristen Amanda Brink, said on Wednesday night by Arkanz State police.

The official said McGann had recently moved to the area from Oklahoma and was hired to work in a local school.

According to the district superintendent Jared Cleveland, he was hired to teach in the Springdale district of public schools this upcoming school year, but has not yet begun employment.
“This person did not contact the Springdale students or families we serve at any time,” Cleveland said, adding that there is no additional information currently due to the ongoing investigation.
“Our whole team increases our condolences to the Brink family. Their children are especially in our thoughts and prayers,” he said.

McGann was a fifth grade teacher Broken Arrows in Oklahoma, 2023-2024 during the school year, the school district reported. He passed the person’s necessary inspections, said a representative of Broken Arrow state schools.
During the previous school year, he studied at the elementary school in the flower mound, Texas, confirmed by the Lewisville Independent School district. He was appointed to administrative leave in 2023. In the spring, “after concern for class management, professional decisions and pupils’ favoritism, and eventually resigned, the school district said.
“The internal study did not find evidence of misbehavior to the students,” the school district added.

When asked about the motive for a double murder, the investigators refused to comment, saying that the case was still active and that it would be too early.
Previously, the police said the suspect was visible from the park area in the black, four -door sedan, possibly a “Mazda” with a state -covered tape, police said.
Arkanz State Police also released a composite sketch and photo from the back of a man who was seen on the Devil’s Den State Park on Saturday. Police asked for public help to determine a man who said they were looking for a double murder survey.

The FBI helped the Arkanz State police to perform “additional labor force and specialized resources”.
The police have not yet revealed how the edges killed.
