The allegedly 92 -year -old Aidaho’s husband went to Utah to kill family members on the dispute of inheritance

Layton, Utah (ABC4) -92 Aidah’s husband was arrested by Utah, traveling through state lines with a plan to kill his nephew and nephew wife.

The 92 -year -old Billy J Nevills was arrested for two attempts to kill. He has not yet been officially accused.

According to the arrest statement, 2025 September 28th. Nevills from their place of residence in Twin Falls, ID, to Utah. He will allegedly tell the investigators that he is driving around and looking for his nephew home to kill him.

Layton City Police Department in Nevilia, Layton, September 29th. In the morning, and he was taken in custody. Lieutenant Clint Bobrowski, together with the Layton City Police Department, told ABC4 that they were contacted by concerned hotel staff.

Lieutenant Bobrowski said Nevills stay in Layton at a hotel and said he was said to be “in the area because he was about to commit murder.” Patrol officers responded to the hotel, and police say Nevilas admitted the same to officers.

During the interview with the police, a 92-year-old explained that he wanted to kill both of the family’s confidence and release. Nilse stated that when his wife’s sister died, his wife had to inherit her sister’s estate. However, the Neville’s nephew was able to change the will and “eventually put the whole legacy of his sister into the name of his nephew.”

As a result of this change, Nesvils argued that he and his wife had lost their entire heritage claim.

According to Nezys, his wife is currently living in a care facility and diagnosed with dementia. He believes his nephew “took advantage” because of “her reduced mental health skills.”

Because of his conviction that his nephew “stole money correctly” to his wife, despair allegedly got angry and decided to kill his nephew. Layton City Police officers found a sticky note with his nephew address in his pocket, and Nevills explained that he had acquired a Glock handmade weapon a few weeks ago to commit the crime.

During a conversation with Nevills, he stated that he was driving in search of his nephew house and would have “already killed” him if he had access to GPS phone. Twin Falls, ID, is about 200 miles from where Utah was found in Neville.

Nevil also allegedly told investigators that he plans to go to his nephew’s residence, kill him and his wife when they opened the door, put a weapon on the ground, call 911 and wait for the police to arrive.

According to court documents, after he was detained, Nesvils said he would kill his nephew and his nephew “in front of the officers if he could do it.” He said he had “nothing more to live and wants to do everything he needs” to kill his nephew.

Lieutenant Bobrowski said Nevills admitted to planning to kill “at least June this year” and traveling to Utah to “try to find goals”. According to the police, he told them he had lost and had to stay in a hotel overnight.

Nesvilas was arrested and ordered in Davis County Prison, where he is currently kept without deposit.
