I was invited to visit the TRD office at the National Taco Day, where I was fed with free Tacos, surrounded by many benefits of Tacoma TRD, but I was much more excited than Tacos.
When you go to the lobby, there is a line of race engines attached to the wall to report that you are something special. Behind the closed doors, we looked at some of the many advanced technologies and processes, including the electron microscope, which metallurgists use to analyze the components that fail to try or racing, and the scratches dynamometer setups used for the test test for NASCAR motors. These dynos are fully controlled by climate and can model different barometric pressure and humidity levels, depending on where the race is happening, only to provide information on the exact activity of the TRD.
